I get you, it does not help, and you may feel like why am I quitting. Quitting smoking may feel like it’s not worth it. You asked for support, and it feels like another person is derailing you by purposely sabotaging your progress. I have been there. In my case, it was all me. Those thought patterns while you are in it will consume your life.

Solution:

You will need to separate bad relationships and smoking habits for a second. Put bad relationships in one bucket and smoking habit into another and deal with it separately. Your progress is worth it; your health is worth it. Once you have your health back, you can decide on your relationship with a clean mind. For now, your only goal is to deal with smoking habits that you have control of.

These are the questions that may arise, which are just doubts. Doubts create vagueness which is the plan to fail.

It is not easy. However, it is not hard either. Once you commit to quitting smoke a cold turkey, you will need to have a good plan in place. Things like dealing with cravings, dealing with friends and families who are in the same smoking circle, dealing with work, and brain fog may arise. Once you prepare for these scenarios, it becomes easy.

Ask yourself why you want to quit? Is it to become healthy? Is it money? What is it that is driving you towards this decision? Once you decide, create a solid plan to succeed.
