What is the myth?

I personally found quitting cold turkey is the best way. However, if you haven’t done pre-work, it can quickly bounce back, and before you know it, you are back to smoking again. Please remember that it’s easy to quit. Everyone can do it. However, once the novelty wears off, people tend to go back. They haven’t worked on how to deal with it and want to bridge the void they feel. Can you blame them? I don’t think so. Years of emotional attachment may have resulted in this condition. The short answer is “yes.” However, smoking itself is causing that. Non-smokers do not have smoke-related anxiety. Although you may get anxiety, overcoming that for a short run is well worth it.

I smoked for twenty years. Before I gave up smoking, I was up to two packs a day, and the intake of nicotine was extremely high. I used to have the anxiety of running out of cigarettes, not getting time to smoke before any task, planning my whole life around smoking. Every task, every work, every meeting needed planning around smoking. I used to get anxious in the middle of the meeting.

Please remember that it’s easy to quit. Everyone can do it. However, once the novelty wears
off, people tend to go back. This is because they haven’t worked on how to deal with it and
