Another person does not put cigarettes in your mouth; you do.

I get you, it does not help, and you may feel like why am I quitting. Quitting smoking may feel like it’s not worth it. You asked for support, and it feels like another person is derailing you by purposely sabotaging your progress. I have been there. In my case, it was all me. Those thought patterns while you are in it will consume your life.

Solution:

You will need to separate bad relationships and smoking habits for a second. Put bad relationships in one bucket and smoking habit into another and deal with it separately. Your progress is worth it; your health is worth it. Once you have your health back, you can decide on your relationship with a clean mind. For now, your only goal is to deal with smoking habits that you have control of.
